Project Manager (New System Conceptualisation & Project Promotion) — Project Promotion Group — Tokyo / Nagoya

Role Overview
As a Project Manager in the Project Promotion Group, you will lead the conceptualisation and delivery of new systems from early-stage ideation through to implementation. You will bridge business strategy and technology execution, driving projects that modernise KINTO's operational capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual design phase for new systems: requirements gathering, feasibility analysis, and solution framing
- Develop project plans, scope documents, and delivery roadmaps
- Manage cross-functional project teams across engineering, business, and vendor partners
- Facilitate decision-making with stakeholders and escalate issues proactively
- Track project progress and report to senior leadership
- Drive post-launch reviews and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 6+ years of project management experience in IT/tech, ideally including greenfield system development
- Experience leading projects from conceptual design through delivery
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Familiarity with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
- Business-level Japanese
Nice to Have
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification
- Background in automotive, mobility, or subscription services
- Experience working across Tokyo and regional offices (e.g. Nagoya)
- English communication skills
