[Cloud Platform Engineer] Platform Group — Tokyo / Osaka / Fukuoka

Role Overview
As a Cloud Platform Engineer in our Platform Group, you will build and maintain the internal developer platform that KINTO's engineering teams rely on. You will focus on building self-service infrastructure, improving developer experience, and ensuring the platform is reliable and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Design and build internal developer platform components (CI/CD, deployment pipelines, dev environments)
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration on AWS EKS
- Build and maintain platform tooling and self-service capabilities for engineering teams
- Define platform standards and best practices for reliability and security
- Improve observability across the platform (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to understand platform requirements
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps
- Strong Kubernetes experience (cluster management, Helm, operators)
- Proficiency with AWS (EKS, ECR, VPC, IAM, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, etc.)
- Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform, AWS CDK)
- Business-level Japanese
Nice to Have
- Experience building internal developer platforms (IDPs)
- Knowledge of service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
- Familiarity with GitOps patterns
- English communication skills
