Role Overview
The KINTO Used Car Development Group builds the digital platform for KINTO's certified pre-owned car services. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will lead the development of user-facing web applications using React and TypeScript, delivering a seamless car-browsing and subscription experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Implement responsive, performant UIs with a focus on user experience
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers
- Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews
- Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and technical standards
- Mentor junior engineers on the team
Requirements
- 4+ years of frontend engineering experience
- Expert-level React and TypeScript skills
- Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Jotai, or similar)
- Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL
- Understanding of web performance and accessibility best practices
- Business-level Japanese
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js or SSR frameworks
- Knowledge of e-commerce or listing/search UI patterns
- Design system or component library experience
- English communication skills
