[Data Scientist] Data Science Group — Tokyo / Nagoya / Fukuoka

Role Overview
As a Data Scientist in our Data Science Group, you will build predictive models and analytical solutions that improve KINTO's mobility products and business operations. You will work on projects ranging from demand forecasting to customer behaviour analysis.
Responsibilities
- Build and evaluate machine learning models for business problems (churn, demand, pricing, etc.)
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering
- Collaborate with data engineers to access and process data at scale
- Communicate findings and model results to product and business stakeholders
- Work with engineering teams to deploy models into production
- Continuously improve model performance and monitoring
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data science or applied ML
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow)
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with data visualisation and communicating insights
- Business-level Japanese
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (SageMaker, Vertex AI, etc.)
- Knowledge of time series forecasting or NLP
- Background in mobility, automotive, or subscription industries
- English communication skills
