Role Overview

This role is focused on advancing cloud adoption across KINTO Technologies. You will work as a cloud practitioner and internal advocate, helping product teams make better use of AWS services, improving cloud governance, and driving cloud-first patterns across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product engineering teams to guide cloud-native architecture decisions
• Define and promote cloud best practices, design patterns, and standards
• Evaluate new AWS services and recommend adoption where applicable
• Build reusable infrastructure templates and internal tools for cloud provisioning
• Support cost optimisation initiatives across cloud accounts
• Drive cloud training and knowledge sharing within the engineering organisation

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience across a broad range of services
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns (serverless, containers, event-driven, etc.)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CDK)
• Ability to communicate and influence across engineering teams
• Business-level Japanese

Nice to Have

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.)
• Experience in cloud governance and FinOps
• Background in cloud centre of excellence (CCoE) or platform engineering
• English communication skills
