Role Overview

As a Lead QA Engineer, you will drive quality assurance strategy across one or more product teams at KINTO Technologies. You will define testing approaches, build testing frameworks, and guide a team of QA engineers to ensure our products deliver a high-quality experience to users.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities for assigned product areas, including test strategy and planning
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (E2E, integration, unit)
• Define QA processes and best practices across engineering teams
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify risks early
• Drive continuous improvement in release quality and deployment confidence

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role
• Strong experience with test automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar)
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
• Experience defining QA strategy in an agile / CI/CD environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Business-level Japanese

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing (k6, JMeter, etc.)
• Background in mobile app testing (iOS / Android)
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools
• English communication skills
